Text in Motion was a brief that required an animation that used nothing but text to work hand in hand with a selected piece of audio. The audio could not be shorter than fifty five seconds or longer than one minute and five seconds. The audio could not contain music or sound effects that could influence the viewer.

Barack Obama's Re-Election speech was chosen was it was one of the more interesting and inspirational speeches of 2012. It was also a speech that would work well with the use of text and fit in well with the requirements of the brief.
